The stunning living space features an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, wood burning native rock fireplace, and endless windows enveloped in Evergreens. Bringing the outdoors "in" is further enhanced with 3 outdoor decks offering sweeping views of mountains, aspen trees, Electra Lake, Hermosa Cliffs, Engineer Mountain, and Cascade Creek, which rushes dramatically below the home. The gourmet kitchen with high end appliances and cookware will make preparing meals a pleasure or you can bbq on the Weber gas grill on the main deck. The Master Suite features king bed, cathedral ceilings, walk-in closet, steam shower/room, and incredible star gazing windows to view the night sky.

The luxurious, modern home was built in 2000 and completely refurnished in 2006 with beautiful, rustic, high quality furnishings including all leather living room pieces, and professionally installed high end audio visual equipment including two 42 inch HD flat screen TVs, DVDs/surround sound, and symphonious stereo systems. The home also boasts luxurious high thread count-cotton and down linens.

The house is perfect for both kids and adults. The eagle's nest bedroom has 4 bunk beds and there are 2 separate living/entertaining areas both with TV/DVD/stereo. It sleeps 6 adults and 4 children with 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 4 twin beds. Free wireless internet access and national telephone long distance is available, as is DirecTV/satellite TV with free HBO/Showtime. Our family personally manages our rental home and is available 24/7 locally (we live in Durango) to assist you! There is no impersonal property management company involved! The unique home is an architectural feat! It is completely furnished and ready to enjoy, amenities abound - just bring yourselves and sports gear. 4WD needed in winter snow!
